Java API: add tests to check conversion of values in prepared statements (#5495)

* Reproduce issue

* Add test for setting TIMESTAMP field with prepared statement

* Remove 'bin' dir'

* Add value conversion tests

* Change while loop to if stmt

* Compare values directly

* Fix how null is compared

* Add java_api/bin to .gitignore
