* fix: preserve silent outputs and surface export failures

* fix: address audio output review findings

- validate empty and non-finite NumPy inputs before inference
- process directory audio extensions case-insensitively
- keep contract tests portable across FFmpeg-free and Windows CI
- sort the public export list for Ruff
