feat: New architecture support for Android and iOS (#655)

* Upgrade example app to RN 0.71
* Add `react` to peer deps
* build: switch to modern yarn
* test: example app .xcode.env file is in .gitignore and should not be committed
* test: bump example Podfile.lock
* fix: revert remaining listener changes and conflict issues
