# releaseCollection()
This method releases the specified collection from memory.
 
## Invocation 
```javascript
new milvusClient(MILUVS_ADDRESS).collectionManager.releaseCollection(ReleaseCollectionReq);
```

## Parameters
### ReleaseCollectionReq

## Example
```javascript
new milvusClient(MILUVS_ADDRESS).collectionManager.releaseCollection({
